Meet the Team

Clay-Mations Studio is lead by a smart and caring team of creative individuals who are happy to help you in your clay-studio experience.


  • Founder

    It all started with an idea for a pottery lessons business to help millennials and students to relax.

    I launched Clay-Mations Studio January 2025. I was then accepted into CYstarters cohort 10, a business accelerator Summer program.

    We opened our doors to the public in a Spooktacular Celebration October 31st.

    Classes are now open for booking!


  • Gallery Coordinator

    ‍+ Cafe Manager

    Megan is a Junior at DMACC studying CAD and AI technologies.

    She is an experienced designer from ISU’s Industrial Design Program with a great eye for innovation and trends.

    Megan previously worked for the MU Art Gallery, working on instillation design.

    She also is a highly talented Cafe Barista and serves the coziest drinks in Ames.

    Bailey is a recent graduate from Iowa State’s College of Design. She earned her BFA specializing in 3D: woods and ceramics.

    She bring her experience teaching pottery lessons and expertise in large sculptural forms.

    Bailey is currently developing her own personalized style of drifting marks and patterns that showcase purposeful color, shape, and brushwork.
